Jack Ma, the founder of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, spoke out at the second World Intelligence Conference in Tianjin, saying that blockchain technology is not a bubble, but Bitcoin is.

Chinese IT Ministry Cryptocurrency Ratings Released: Ethereum 1st, Bitcoin 13th of 28

What is this all about?
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released its official cryptocurrency ratings of 28 cryptocurrencies, ranking the top five cryptocurrencies as Ethereum, followed by Steem, Lisk, NEO and Komodo.
What are these ratings based on?
"Domestic experts and scholars" contributed to the ratings, which they calculated on the basis of three indexes: "technology," "application" and "innovation." Get more details here.

First Crypto Exchange Using Nasdaq's Tech Announces Launch, Excluding US Customers

What is this tech for?
Nasdaq is providing the technology to power the new centralized crypto exchange, DX, which will not charge fees for trading and will open trading with the market's top six cryptocurrencies. 

What did the project's CEO say about it? 
The project's CEO Daniel Skowronski called the upcoming exchange a "one-stop-shop" for "exchanging fiat and crypto, holding coins as well as wallet services." Get more details in our article.

Steve Wozniak Compares Ethereum to Apple

What happened?
At the WeAreDevelopers tech conference in Vienna, Steve "Woz" Wozniak compared Ethereum's platform to Apple and said it could become just as influential.
What did he say about it?

Hacked Crypto Exchange Coincheck Confirms Removal of Four Anonymity-Focused Altcoins

 What happened?
Following reports from back in March, the Japanese crypto exchange Coincheck has now officially confirmed that the removal of four anonymity-focused coins such as Monero (XMR), Zcash (ZEC), Dash (DASH), and Augur (REP) will come into effect on June 18.
What is this for?
According to Coincheck's blog, the exchange will remove the four cryptocurrencies to comply with laws on counter-terrorist financing (CFT) and anti-money laundering (AML). Get more details here.
